Success at Regional Finals!
This Tuesday, Phoenix Motorsports, joined by three other teams from our school, attended at the STEM Racing UK London South Regional Finals at Canterbury Christ Church University. It was an incredible day of racing, engineering, and school spirit—one of those events that reminds us why we love doing what we do.
Our Performance – Professional Class
Phoenix Motorsports fought hard in an extremely competitive Professional Class, finishing 3rd place. While it wasn’t the result we were aiming for this season, the team delivered a great result. We’re now waiting to hear whether we’ll receive a wildcard invitation to the National Finals—fingers crossed.
A huge shoutout to our schools Y12 team, Warp Racing, who became Regional Champions, taking home awards for Best Engineered Car, Best Team Identity, and Lightning Fast Reaction Time. Their success pushes all of us to keep raising the bar.
Development Class Success
Our DEV teams also absolutely shone:
Bolt STEM – 1st Place, plus
- Best Engineered Dev Car
- Sponsorship & Marketing Award
- Blizzard Racing – 2nd Place, securing another podium for the school
Both teams earned their place at the National Finals, joining Warp Racing in representing our school on the biggest stage.
Looking Ahead
Even though this wasn’t our strongest season, Phoenix Motorsports is coming away more motivated than ever. We’re proud of what we achieved on Tuesday, and even more excited about what comes next. Whether we receive a wildcard or not, we’ll keep pushing, improving, and representing our school with pride.
